100% Bloomingdale’s
The Backstory: For almost three years, I worked on Bloomingdale’s in-house digital team overseeing copy for dresses—yes, we sold so many dresses that we needed a dedicated writer. In between crafting copy for product descriptions and weekly emails, I worked on special projects—editorial lookbooks and the launch of our 100% campaign.
The Ask: For the launch of 100%, 100 designers created 1,000 exclusive pieces—and we were tasked with writing copy for all the designs. But because of the campaign’s size and the limited availability of designers, we were challenged to weave the few technical details we did know about each piece into a poetic story—something that explained the reasoning behind the design choices and complemented the overall trend story we wanted to tell for the season.
